Whilst the weather forecasts on Thursday were looking rather foreboding, we went ahead with our plan and managed to get a couple of rounds of tennis played before the heavens opened and play had to be abandoned for the evening. But, as luck would have it, the pasta supper was ready to come out of the oven for our soggy players at that time, and after purchasing a drink, we sat down to a welcome supper. 

20 members took part and our winners on the night were Jo R and Kobbie.

The next event of this type is scheduled for the afternoon of Saturday 9th August but it will be slightly different as it will be a combined event with our padel section, with a BBQ, weather permitting!
