A new entry on our social calendar this year is the Galan “fun” tournament and today was the day for its first appearance.. This event is for both off-peak and peak members and it’s held during the day, when the Tuesday padel social would normally take place. Using 3 of the courts, we had 24 keen padellers participating today. To make a change from the usual Navarro format, this one was of the “bring a dish” variety and everyone contributed to our fabulous buffet.  Our winners today were Paul T and Kim … but it was a close contest with the runners up not far behind! A BIG thank you must go to James duB for his adept blowing of the whistle and generally herding the cats!
